Data Handling & Residency Policy

1. Processing Principles

Event Stock Tracker processes personal and venue data in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, APPs, and comparable regulations for other jurisdictions. We only collect information necessary to provide the service, and we limit internal access on a least-privilege basis.

2. Storage & Residency

Production workloads run on Google Cloud and Firebase in data centres located in Australia, the United States, and the European Union. Backups are encrypted and replicated between regions to maintain availability. You may request region restrictions via support.

3. Retention & Deletion

We retain event history while your subscription remains active and for up to 12 months after termination unless you request earlier deletion or law requires longer retention. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days, including backups where technically feasible.

How to request deletion

  • Staff: In the app, go to Dashboard → Settings → Data & Account Deletion, add an optional reason, and click Request my account deletion. The hotel owner reviews and approves.
  • Owners: In the same section, click Request hotel deletion. This is escalated for super admin approval before the hotel data is removed.
  • You can also email support to submit a request or check status.

4. Incident Response

EST maintains 24/7 monitoring, role-based alerts, and runbooks for potential data incidents. Notifiable breaches are reported to affected customers and regulators within applicable timelines. To report a suspected incident, email himakargd123@gmail.com.
